The creation of the Beyond Us & Them initiative celebrates a powerful vision of wellbeing, compassion and community and will provide a platform for systems change.
For the last decade, Center for Council has been committed to fostering powerful connections, not only within, but between the communities we serve, connections that contribute to a greater sense of unity within our organizations and families and around the world. We are committed to creating structures of belonging through building programs and practices that generate respectful dialogue and creative solutions to our collective challenges. Developing Beyond Us & Them will enable us to leverage the transformative impact of council to create tangible social change in the world.
This new initiative will help build out and solidify infrastructure to expand programming and reframe the way we support law enforcement, healthcare workers, community-based organizations, educators and policymakers. Our vision for Beyond Us & Them is to provide robust infrastructure for an expansive slate of programming, as well as to anchor a movement. As this new entity forms, we will move our operations and programs from within our current fiscal sponsor to this new independent entity.
